These rivers played a key role in the growth and development of the entire area. The Bernheim Forest is a one of a kind tourist attraction and because of Interstate 65’s proximity, tourists come from all around to see this majestic stand of trees.

Life is good in Bullitt County. It’s a family friendly place with a number of good schools to education your children. There are four high schools in the county and students are well prepared for their futures.  That’s good because Bullitt County has enjoyed real economic growth over the past decade. The future looks good too!

Where should you look for your next home?  Well, take your pick. Shepherdsville is the County seat.  Fox Chase, Hillview, Hunter’s Hollow Lebanon Junction, Mount Washington and Pioneer Village are all major cities here and each has a flavor all its own.
